Opportunity
The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) prepares, administers, and scores the Landscape
Architect Registration Examination (LARE).
To supplement the formal education and work experience of a candidate, CLARB provides a comprehensive reading list to
prepare candidates for the professional examinations. CLARB’s recommended reading list covers various topics that
provide fundamental knowledge to aspiring landscape architects, not only as a basis for preparing for the exams, but for
professional practice.
Quinn Design Associates can provide a review and monitoring program over a period of six to twelve months to guide a
candidate through this requirement.
Capabilities and Credentials
• Excellent design, graphic, computer, writing, and technical skills.
• Self-motivated and passionate about design.
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• The ability to work with others, as well as independently.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Rhino, Sketch-up, and Adobe programs is essential.
• The ability to use LandFX, Enscape, Lumion or TwinMotion is a plus.
Education and Experience
• Applicants should be a current student or recent graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a
Landscape Architecture program.

• We offer a collaborative studio work environment. Our landscape architects engage staff across multiple
disciplines and are presented with project opportunities at various scales and at the local, regional, national, and
international level.
• To receive the best mentorship experience, we anticipate that this position will predominantly require work in the
office while remaining compliant with current public health guidelines. Work from home arrangements may be
considered, though in-office presence will be a priority.
