The City of Toronto is seeking input from community members to help shape the future of Toronto’s recreation facilities and parks. We are reaching out as we believe your clients/community members would be interested in participating and providing their feedback. Please share this email, the attached e-flyer, and/or the short shareable text at the bottom of this email widely in your community to encourage participation. A printable poster is also attached, should you wish to post it in a shared space.
We invite you to visit the project webpage and share your feedback to help plan the future of Toronto’s recreation facilities and parks. Opportunities to get involved include:
- An online survey available until December 18 (in English, French, Filipino, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Tamil)
- Virtual public meetings:
- Facilities Plan meetings on November 28
- Parkland Strategy meetings on December 3 and 4
- Do-it-yourself workshop kits for community groups
- Classroom engagement kit for grades 5 to 8
- In-person community pop-ups across the city

Community members interested in ice facilities including arenas, outdoor rinks, skating trails, curling rinks and dry-pads (off-season use of arenas and outdoor rinks) can also share feedback to inform the development of the Ice Facilities Strategy, a long-term plan to maximize use and guide future investment in both indoor and outdoor ice facilities.
